We are UK based and government approved, so press 2 now to speak to an adviser for free." Not always from the same number but always the same message. SCAM, yet another call from a different number claiming to be from an energy company in my area, I let him get as far as asking if I was the home owner then I hung up cos I was watching the news about covid. Now and again I like to waste their time for a while. Lol.

Asked if we had a gas boiler & was it over 7 years old. I got them to confirm that we had not asked to be contacted, said that we were TPS registered and that they were breaking the law. Was told that they would remove our number from their list (of course, they should have checked before disturbing us.)

Barclays SCAM! Claimed that they were calling in relation to fraudulent activity on my account, but I soon got suspicious when they asked me to "confirm" my debit card details. They asked me if I insured my car with a company called "Alan's Motors", but when I said I thought I did they actually tried to convince me that I didn't. Overall, FRAUDULENT number, do not give any details to this number! SCAMMERS!
