Answered 'phone immediately, but seller hung up. Not a clue who it was, or what it was about-I assume an automated random dialing that dropped the call, and should be reported as such. The other reports have left no comment, so I presume they had the same 'silent' treatment.

Got an automated call showing this number. The computer generated voice stated that my bank account and NI number had been hacked, and that i had not responded to any requests to contact me. It then threatened that i could be arrested, and to avoid that, to press 1 now.
This number just called me - FROM MANCHESTER - claiming it was national insurance to say my N.I. number had been compromised in WALES ... I hung up.
A recorded message saying there are 2 payments from my card to Amazon for (... amounts irrelevant.... ) please press 1 to speak to an advisor.... SCAM heard it before.
Called me many times for the past few days and every time I pick up there s no sound at all.
Second call from this number. When I phoned 1471 to find out who it was I got the message "This number is not accepting incoming calls at present. Please try again later". Obviously a scam.

Caller said she was from "Energy Advisors" and that they work alongside my energy supplier. I asked who was my enery supplier and she said "EDF". This was wrong. Asked why she was calling me she said she was acting on "a lead". I told her that this was completely untrue as she clearly didn't even know who was my energy supplier. I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

Calls from number 01215257983 are a scam. The person pretends to be from B.T. and says there is a problem with your internet speed and wants you to run some tests on your laptop. Unfortunately for him my Internet Service Provider is not B.T. and I am also an electronics engineer, so when I started to ask him technical questions he became very, very, abusive and hung up. This number is now blocked on my phone and I would suggest others do so.
