NB: WHY would a GLOBAL company be calling me from same Area Code!? Probably to panic people into giving out personal details (ie Bank info)!!! This phone number phoned stating my credit card had been used. No bank name was given. Checked as far as I can not used. There was no bank name given. Can only presume this is a scam. An 0141 number is not a usual scam number, will keep checking.

Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). I've been receiving lots of calls to my business mobile starting 0843. All of them without exception disconnect after around 3 rings. No doubt to get you to call back - so I suspect this is a scam, even though I'm the first to comment on this number here.

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
Also calls are coming from 01780665046, 01780665029, 01780665037,01780665024, all spam unwanted calls always around 4pm onwards. Do not have any appliances on repair or warranty
