SCAM - pretends to be from Microsoft saying computer has downloaded malicious software. Gets recipient to go to PC. Identifies PC/Mac by asking to describe keyboard. For mac uses Spotlight to launch console - didn’t run with it any further. Caller does know the name accociated with the phone number. Caller has strong asian accent with a regular uk name.

Fraud Extremely suspicious recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. Tells you to press 1 immediately or a warrant will be issued in your name. But naturally it doesn't know your name because it's a blatant scam.

SCAM possibly? Caller claimed to be a biker for LoveEnergy based in Pakistan (said this when I said I was going to report him) Called Love Energy, they said it wasn’t them. A search on the internet shows the number as belonging to Russendale Landlord Group!

Asked me to confirm whether I was living at my address but when I said I didn t have time, Mike as he called himself, became angry and said you ve just wasted my time and put the phone down on me... Definitely weird! I have missed calls all the time from this number and another they call constantly. Left one strange answer phone message. Looking at others comments seems to be people praying on customers of car phone warehouse who are due an upgrade. Which I am but haven t yet. Just ignore/block and go to the store to be sure n safe.

SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
