I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. Strong foreign asking for me by my first name. Wanting to know if I was a housing association/council tenant and discuss paying for costs of repairs/damages. Very difficult to understand. Not at all relevant to me and I believe it was a scam.

scammers!... automated message suggesting your bank card has been used to purchase goods not done by the card holder. Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. All very open to you giving them more information should you decide to press any buttons and engage with them!

Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.
