This is a scam caller from an Indian call center pretending to be from BT. Avoid.

This number 01855790593 was on my phone they did not leave a message so I have not a clue who it is.

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. They then asked for the "Reference" number of the card the big number along the top. I asked them to verify my BT account number (I m on Virgin Media) but they did nit see

I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.
