Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Yet another "you have had an accident" call! Rang off when I asked for the company name.

Claimed that I had recently been involved in a car accident. Told her that she must have the wrong number and then blocked the number.

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. I have blocked their number but somehow they are managing to leave unintelligible voice mails. Can anybody help me stop them. They are a SCAM!!
