This number left a message to call back John (no company name). When i returned the call he tried to sell me a pension. I questioned his methods and he put the phone down on me. Any company that operates in such a way is not worth dealing with.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. I called this number back and they said it was vodafone. He wanted to chat about my contract but got disconnected. I contacted vodafone to check if this number was them and they confirmed that it was a courtesy call from them, so it seemed to be genuine.

Sounds like the same as everyone else. Apparently, there s a warrant for our arrest. The start of the message was cut off so it s not clear what I m going to be arrested for, but considering the number he wants me to call isn t one from HMRC I doubt it s genuine.
