"Just calling about your car crash...." - not sure what the scam they are trying to pull is but as soon as you question them they hang up. Scumbags.

I ve had loads of calls from this number over the last few days. I answered once and they said they re from O2 and want to offer me deals. I told them I wasn t interested and hung up, they still keep calling.

Seems to be a telepest, called our company (which is registered with TPS) and abondoned the call after 1 ring.

Thanks for all previous comments.I would never answer unkwown calls anyway. It is about time something gets done about this. why can t there be a punishment for this type of nuisance.

Asked to speak with my manager, I asked who they were and where they were calling from, advised his name was Sam from British Gas then proceeded to discuss N Power, I asked him to verify the company. After much back and "fourthing"he advised he was from "Duel Fuel" and his name was Jamal. Then he asked what was the company he has called an our number!! Very odd

Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. I imagine they are just random calling after accessing insurance claim/accident data from an unethical source!! Had 3 calls on same day from different unknown / nuisance numbers! Stinks!

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

This tried calling my landline twice this morning; Google comes up with either foreign results or rubbish, so blocked.

Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rude - yes!
