How do BT allow such a number to be allocated for fraudulent purposes. Why does barclaycard not find out who these scammers are and with whatever part of government that can, prosecute the offenders?

Disgusting customer service! I have a 2012 vw up and I ve just been insulted with the offer of 500 pounds! They re reason being because there is damage on the back panels, which they already knew about and had already offered me 2100 over the phone. Absolute waste of time all around. They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. They have aquired your mobile number via an old loan application. They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. DO NOT GIVE THEM BANKING DETAILS ESPECIALLY DEBIT CARD DETAILS. INDIAN SCAM, LETS HOPE THEY GET A LARGER EARTH QUAKE IN FUTURE.

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.

When you pick up you get answer machine stating call important to them & you will be transferred to next available agent asap.

Text body reads: "We have been trying to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CONFIRM and we will call you back". Texting back with CONFIRM (or anything) will probably just let them know your number is in use so they can sell it. Don t reply.

I don t know how they have my mobile number, but when they ring they never speak and always hang up.

This number called me the day after I had an accident, I stupidly went along with the call thinking it was connected to my crash.. They told me to lie and say I had injuries! Ignore them and don t give any info they re so dodgey!!!

This company rang and said they would get me money back for miss old ppi. They had my name but I wouldn't give them any information.
