Called saying from telemarketing if I gave details they could put a stop to nuisance calls. I said you’re not you’re trying to scam people and not so politely told them where to go.
Fraudulent scam - tried to make out he was calling from HMRC and that there is a problem with my National Insurance number and hat I needed to call urgently to resolve.
Fraud automated message to press 1, as HMRC were claiming immediate contact or arrest. Be very careful.

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. A few minutes ago I had a call from 01414467459 that I could hardly hear due to cracked sounds in ll.the line, from a foreign lady who wanted to talk to me about my Amazon account. I don't have such an account so I put the phone down immediately. Obviously yet another spam call.

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Possible spam or scam call. Caller mumbled something about BT openreach and tried to have a conversation with me. When I enquired what the call was about, he replied that he "just wanted to talk to me"....???? And then hung up.
