An automatic message threatening with legal action regarding national insurance number and suspicious activity. Legal departments never do that over the phone. Number blocked.
02030973793 phoned 28/7/2022. Claimed that money from bank account had been removed and we were due a refund. Identity of caller was garbled but they did name me. Closed call. Treating as dangerous.

I agreed a time for them to attend so I could check them out. Obviously they didnt arrive. I checked the Pension Review Service Website which unsurprisingly had this number listed for a company posing as themselves. Claimed to be Legal and General. Washing machine scam looking to renew insurance. Hung up when asked what model of washing machine they were referring to.
Lady with strong Indian Accent from Virgin Media technical said that hackers had got into my router (a hidden problem that affected other users too, not just me), and wanted to check it for me. I confirmed independently by dialling 150 and entereling my password. I was told that no technician had called my phone today, so it was either a phishing call or some attempt to gain control of my online device(s).

Assuming you're an a***t - call the number and tell them you have passed their number to the police as you believe they are grooming a minor.
Had around 10 calls in 4 days. When answered initially call was quiet for 5 seconds then went dead. Blocked it but a pain in the arse.
