It is a scam pretending to be O2. They got into my account and ordered an iPhone which I didn't ask for. Luckily they didn't manage to change the delivery address and I changed my password on time. O2 confirmed it is a scam.
SPAM SPAM I did not answer as I did not recognise the number. It recorded a message on my voicemail in Mandarin. I regularly get calls from apparent UK mobiles which do this. One advisor at my airtime provider told me it may be a number which charges a lot to call it. or even to answer it. This cannot to me as I have a capped charge at zero.
SCAM - from 07773 212931 - claimed £900 had been paid for online purchase from my visa debit card. Automated message starting “dear customer”. Told me to press 1 for fraud line to stop payment.

But had numerous calls from Asian Trader Magazine wanting to now my mothers maiden name, my primary school. 4 times they have rung now a different person each time. This number is on documentation relating to a complaint letter supposedly from Bank of Scotland. No complaint made looks like it wants you to phone the number where I suspect charges will be incurred. It is a scam and the second one I have received. Address does not tie up no phone number like it on bank website letter unprofessional.

Answered the call and heard an automated voice claiming that HMRC would be initiating legal proceedings against me. Terminated the call before they got any further. Very dodgy.

Got a similar call a while ago and checked with actual Three and they didn't know anything about it. Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. We received a call from this number. The caller stated that he wants to discuss my husband’s current life insurance policy. My husband has no life insurance policy therefore I suspect they are not genuine callers. Beware of rouge callers who want to get info about your account and take your hard earned cash. Disgusting human beings if you can call them that.
