He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. I received a call from this number to a landline in Switzerland They claimed to be from Visa saying that there had been suspicious charges to my visa card. They gave me details , and said that I should push 1 if they were OK, and 2 if I should reject them. I hung up
Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.
Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Other numbers that called to same extent were 01330 560922 and 01689 814765, both equally as perplexing.

Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.

SCAM Further to my earlier review I managed to get the operator to give up on me by pretending to be deaf and unable to understand his heavy India accent (not entirely untrue on either count). Kept asking him to repeat all the questions and spell out everything: first his name, then the name of the company etc in a voice that makes me sound older than I am. After 2or 3 minutes he gave up.
