Believe this number to be a scam. They called me with an automated message claiming to be amazon. It said that i was about to be charged for amazon prime (which i dont have), and if i dont want that to happen press 1. Obviously i didnt press 1 as that probably goes through to scammers.

SCAM / SPAM. Automated call saying I will be charged £79.00 by Amazon UK and to basically press 1 to get through to some manager to cancel the bill. Ended the call as another number that called my home last week was for the same thing; I didn't answer that call but it was on 'who called me' as the same thing.
Its these people that try to get all your money. Be careful and don t listen to them. I agree with all the comments. They say random things just to defraud you and others.
Telemarketing for "special offer" garbage for company employees or whatever is was that the lady on the phone was trying to get across at 200mph !! Spoke so fast, missed the company name, sounded like "star .." something ..

Fraud I did not pick up just listening the voicemail. There was a robot voice who told calling fron HMRC about my tax and if I not calling back they going to send the police. Sooo now, I'm waiting for the police to knock on the door.

Let them ramble on for a bit; apparently I could be owed thousands in PPI claims, which they would chase for me for only 30% of it. For reassurance they gave me a different callback number to the one that had rung on my mobile, then asked if I would speak to my bank and request PPI information on their behalf while they kept me on hold. Steve is correct, it is Bauer Media. If you ve entered your number online somewhere for a free magazine (I d asked for Marie Claire / Instyle) then they re calling for your address. Theyll also offer you 3 issues for £1.00. Spoke to a lovely lady and she asked if I wanted future calls for offers and so I said no. It s all legit. However, they need to work on their employees... I had another call minutes later from a guy there who was on the phone to someone else!!
Received a call this morning from the above number. Said that my pension was now due for review. Said they were the PENSIONS ADVICE BUREAU and confirmed my address and postcode. Said they were conducting reviews on UK pensions and that my pension was due for review. Seems strange as I have no pension nor is one then up for review. Told her this and then she apologised and said that the number would be removed form the system. I asked her questions about what the mature of their business was. Told pensions
