Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

PPI. Don t answer this number. Rude, arrogant and threatened to keep calling until I listened.

This number rang, our search came up with things like freelove!! Seems dodgy, no messages, so I d say personally not to trust!

House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. Went on a van insurance website where I had to give my number. Immediately started getting phone calls. I don t answer them so don t know who they are. Apart from that...the insurance quotes on the van insurance site were ludicrously high...use gocompare or some other trusted comparison site, not these sheisters.

Called it back - doesn't state the company name, just goes straight onto hold.

Really weird, rang and asked for my daughter whom banks with co-op. Left her a message asking her to call 08448448899 ASAP as there was a problem with her account. She rang them later and they had no record of anyone calling her nor was there any problem with her account.

Life insurance scam. Calls from a mobile number too, its chargeable to ring this number back.

my daughter answered this call ..She was told she d had a loan in 2007, and repaid it in 2011. (I don t know how she would have got a loan for £3000 at the age of 11, but obviously this company has better records than us. ) When she continued to talk over the caller, telling him to take us off his list, he told her to go forth and multiply and hung up....proof of a scam
