Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. Please be extremely careful if you pick up your phone as it’s LOCAL number because I’ve had lots of these calls that I don’t answer & it’s impossible to phone back because you get the number you have Dialled has not been Recognised. It’s definitely a Sophisticated Scamming System.
Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

Stupidly, I clicked on the link, and entered card details for Postage of a PCR. RBS got in touch and cancelled the card, although 2 large transactions had been attempted.
