Missed call Rang twice in the space of 2 minutes though
Received this call from this number introducing the company as CMA after I'd had an accident. Told me my details were 'passed on to them'. They've been harassing me every night from similar numbers for almost a week now. Asking me to confirm details of accident so that some sort of insurance or compensation claim can be made against the other driver's insurance. Avoid!!
Overseas caller with accent said they were from Scottish Power wanted to arrange appointment to fit smart meter Call was echoing and I could hear what I had just said to them replayed back Told them firmly NO Remember to block this number so they cant ring you back For landline numbers check with your phone provider as they may be able to advise you how to do this

This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.
