SCAM 01772 (Preston Area) 791710 called at 11.15am, recorded message saying "card provider alerting unusual payments to Amazon & Universal Credit Transfer, Press 1 to accept / 2 to decline" But didn't say which card provider and didn't say how much the transactions were. Hung up and rung number back to get message "you have dialled a incorrect number". 99% certain this is a scam. None of my cards have this area code for card enquiries .

Hardly spoke English, probably shipped in on the back of the lorry and working for £1 an hour. Caller shouted everything, "I sign you up, I sign you up!!" Very intimidating. I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.

Received 2 calls from this number which purports to be from Santander fraud dept. A recorded message asks that I cal back on a freephone number entering a 3 digit code. I am suspicious of calls of this type and will first check with Santander to verify whether it is a real message or not.
