The phone was silent when I answered it. Worryingly I was unable to make any outgoing or incoming (from my mobile) calls for about an hour after. I don t know if this was a result of that call. After an hour normal service was resumed and I traced the number using 1471.
Called about a car accident that didn't exist last year.
SCAM. Automated call supposedly from bank (no bank name given) saying fraudulent transaction on my debit card with £600?? sent overseas. Press 1 if transaction ok, 2 if not. Checked on 1471 and full telephone no. ringing me was 0049170285347. Blocked number, contacted bank, no unauthorised transaction, so a scam.

Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. I did have a minor knock 1 year ago and I keep being hassled by them and told that if I don t claim 2 - 3 thousands pounds the 3rd party will, against me. will talk to my insurers and I will continue to ignore them.
