SCAM This is a scam call claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is highly compromised and they need to secure it. Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. Asked for my wife by name, but as we've had a few of these recently, I asked what it was about. As it was about her car, I pushed him - said he was from Go Legal, which, as far as I can tell, was a valid solicitors that was wound up in 2014. When pushed further he said he'd call back later. Number blocked.
Spammed 30 odd calls and never left a message. Eventually answered and a girl asked if I was interested in an accounting role. I said yes to see if things were legitimate and she hung up immediately after I answered. Something dodgy, without a doubt.
