It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker.
