I don’t recognise this number and no message was left

Just had a call from this number at work but no message left. I m pretty sure it s yet another scam number...

This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. Liverpudlian male voice asking about accident I was involved with. Promptly asked him to remove my number from database and reported to ICO. It s a scam.

Caller didn t know who my mobile provider was, but tried to convince me I was entitled to a new phone for free. They hung up when they realised I was not taking the bait.

Called during the day - recorded message about Amazon Prime - needs bank details - this is a scam - do not respond - they are trying to rob you!!

This number has called me numerous times over the past 3 or so days, including twice within 10 minutes of each other this morning! If you really want or need to speak to me, then leave a message on my answer machine, simple!! - these people will never leave a message and I will NEVER answer their harrassment calls on a number that I don t recognise. I have now blocked this number from ringing me any more.

Rang me up and cut me off as soon as I said hello.
