FRAUD - Automated call stating that your national insurance number has been stolen or compromised etc and to press 1 to be connected to a caller. Dont be mistaken because it is an 0800 number, it is not legitimate, just fraudsters trying to obtain your personal information.

Asking questions trying to sell a mobile phone offer
I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.
I couldn t understand much of what they were trying to say, on the 3 calls. Line with lots of cuts, so I didn t felt much comfortable with the call looking as some sort of scheme.

this is the number for GCS recruitment in London. completely trust worthy and not a scam.
Possible SCAM / SPAM - this man called saying he was the allocated shopper for my sister and that he had a box of 32 items for her. Accent difficult to understand. My sister already has someone allocated to do her shopping so checked with the council who have no record of him. It may be genuine but people need to take care.

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". He was from Microsoft "apparently" his name was Michael "apparently" I started to talk Micrsoft and malware and cyber security as he said he was trying to help with my comouter issues . I am trained in this area started asking specific questions and I obviously was a little more knowledgable than "Michael" was.. He quickly hung up!
