Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

SCAM Had a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft and they wanted access to my computer. I told him it was a scam as Microsoft never phone or text you so I ended the call.

Rang twice and left a message that we have been charged £95 because our prime has ran out! We don't use prime and there has no debit on our account! Suspect its a scam and haven't answered, will now block them.
