Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. I ve never paid this amount of PPI. And it sounds to me as though the Paysafe vouchers are something which these fraudsters have set up so that when I buy the vouchers from the
SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

iv had 2 calls from this Indian the first he didn t even say where he was from or even verify my name but he was desperately after my d.o.b, post code etc. after a couple of minutes I hung up and he rang straight back saying apologies for connection but I replied "oh that s my fault I needwd to sync to my pc so I can pun point your location to come and see you face 2 face you thieving con man" and before my next breath he was gone n hasn t rang back since. RESULT!!
SCAM it is a man who comes from a date app and start texting and says he loves you and want to marry you then he suddenly has a new contract job in Asia (Malaysia) but he requests your address because he will send some gifts and when he come back from his "mission job" he will buy tickets to visit wherever you are. Then you text and the number has been blocked and he mysteriously vanishes from the earth. Be careful.

I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. Everyone, get yourself a BT Call Blocker Phone 8600 (with Call Guardian) - its brilliant, you will never be worried with these scammers again - it blocks them for you and your friends and family get through. Honestly cannot recommend enough! Had it 3 weeks and its stopped all this rubbish - FABULOUS!
