Answered the first 2 calls from this number to hear an Asian sounding voice - in the first instance telling me I had a Windows problem and the second time telling me I had a BT line problem. As I was aware of this scam, in both instances I told them to "get lost" and hung up. Since then they have been ringing me several times a day but since I have caller identity I ignore it. This is plain harassment.

Everyone, get yourself a BT Call Blocker Phone 8600 (with Call Guardian) - its brilliant, you will never be worried with these scammers again - it blocks them for you and your friends and family get through. Goes through phases of calling several times a week, then nothing for a couple of months. Doesn't take "not interested" as a reason to stop calling. Most of the time the number is from Bournemouth, but occasionally from Bristol - supposedly, because spoofing numbers isn't difficult. They don't seem bothered by calling a TPS number either, which adds to the 'number being spoofed' theory.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.
