Call center, sounds like the guy was from Africa. Denies trying to sell me something, wants to ask questions about online investment. Doesn't hang up for most of the usual tactics, but gets abusive. Fun to play with, though, if you have the time.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.

01706 314 xxxx seems to be a common number for pest callers. Sorry people of Rochdale but if you have a legitimate reason to call me you'll have to leave a message.
