It is a pre-recorded message upon picking up the call that is in italian language and mentions implantology. I never had anything to do with any implats whatsoever and I think this is a spam call

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Said they were contacting me about a problem I had with my house - suggesting it was rented / local authority. It's not so I said they had the wrong number and they hung up. The phone number is one used by Barclays but in my case certainly spoofed as they were after details that Barclays have said they would never ask for over the phone (DoB, Mothers maiden name etc.)

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.

Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.
Appears to be BUPA - asked for a quote, asked not to be contacted, they still call.
Scam call from Revenue advising investigating taxes and that an arrest warrant will be issued. Press 1 for assistance.......etc. you get the point.
Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam
Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.
No reason for anyone from London to call me in Ohio.
