SPAM - single text from this number , saying "Hey". Not in my contacts or a number I have ever called. Possible smishing attempt.
My phone showed me that is a fraud potential call, so I didn't answer it. Blocked it!
Foreign woman, called my mobile and started asking questions about my business insurance. Told her shed called a private mobile number and she said she wasnt allowed to call those then hung up.
Supposed to be microsoft security as have had a pop up block my laptop and quotes this number to contact to help unlock the block.
I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. SCAM Automated message stating a criminal investigation is lodged against you for Tax evasion. I ended the call half way through the message.
My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.
