SCAM / SPAM A new Amazon Prime scam call today. 8 days ago we had the same type of call (01203482996 that time) using the same robotic female (possibly Philipino) voice BUT this week the "cost" had almost trebled, they were apparently going to debit £99.99 from our bank account ....... Unless, of course, we pressed button 1 to speak to someone at Amazon. I think this is an attempt to scare those who didn't react to the last threat £39.99) into trying to speak to these evil people.

Even though I m TPS registered I keep getting calls (often many times a day) from the same company leaving the message "Everyone now also qualifies for solar panels and external wall insulation. We are UK based and government approved, so press 2 now to speak to an adviser for free." Not always from the same number but always the same message.
