Get calls every day from this number on my house phone normally while I m out at work so can t answer but on the times I have been home to answer (normally 8.30am on weekends!) they ask for some random person although I ve told atleast 10 different people they have the wrong number they still phone despite saying they will take the number off the system. received call from man with indian accent, he said he is calling from national accident helpline - i told him to remove my details from his database and never call back again. if only that was true. i have also reported this on the national accident helpline website and apparently it isn t them so i don t know what else to do.

This call is from NTT Fundraising based in Bristol BS1 2NB. You should report them to the TPS (I have), especially if your number is registered with the TPS. The more people do it, the more likely the TPS will actually pay attention. I caused EMCAS (ambulance chasers) based in Torquay some grief by submitting a complaint to the TPS

A large number of people have been called by the criminals using this fictitious number according to other sites. Their aim is to gain the confidence of people and persuade them to allow access to their computers so they can infect them. Yesterday I was out all day and when I returned I found no less than five calls from a slightly different but equally fictitious number, 01614379874, but still equally recognisable as fake from anyone who has had so many of these calls as I have.
