RECEIVED A SILENT PHONE CALL THIS MORNING 23 OCT 2019 - WANTED TO REPORT IT TO BT BUT HAD TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS A SCAM PHONE CALL FIRST. OTHERWISE I COULD BE PREVENTING GENUINE CALLERS FROM USING THEIR PHONES. AFTER CHECKING ON LINE THE PHONE NUMBERS THAT I DO NOT RECOGNISE OR THOSE I HAVE ANSWERED AND FINDING OTHER REPORTS ON LINE I HAVE REPORTED THESE TO BT TO HAVE THEM STOPPED. BT HAVE A HELP LINE ON THEIR WEBSITE AND AT THE END OF THE LIST IS A SECTION FOR SCAM CALLS. I CANNOT REPORT THIS NUMBER AS

SCAM-Was at work. Don’t know anyone in Rotherham so ended call and blocked immediately. & from look of feedback glad I did. I am getting scam e mail attempts daily. Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.

Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.
They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn t want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.

Fraud I find British airways for help, website shown this number. When I called the guy said I must paid to do something, I tell him the debit card information. Then I saw from email the request action was done 6 days ago by British airway. I call BA to confirm and they said they never asked me to pay and never has any payment record!! the website from google is fraud!!! this number is fraud

SCAM pretending to be from 02 but o2 confirmed it is a scam caller. Sent text message and wanted to have the code read out to them. Rude when didn't comply.
Fraudulent - same pattern as other posts - asks for quote. Went into branch and paid a cheque in for much more than the order value then requested reimbursement of difference. We did not fall for it because we smelt a rat. Total scammers DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE

Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!
I don t answer any unknown number on my phone....straight to Google and another one blocked, must be a least 25 number added to list now .
