Had at least 3-4 calls from this Manchester number, nobody speaks so I hang up... Must be a scam!

On answering phone, caller launches into a pre-recorded talk. Doesn t respond to "Hello, who s calling?". very rude. Had this twice this week. Replaced receiver both times.1471 told me it was 01600469009

This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

Called 09:30 from 01212903894 this morning. Indicated that a large amount (£600) was to be taken from a Visa Account but did not give a bank name. Just hung up. Tried phoning ba...

Received a text claiming to be from online retailer VERY regarding new stock of Xbox Series X for pre-order asking me to reply YES before 2200GMT 10/11/2020 if i'm interested in re-ordering from them. Contacted VERY customer services and queried the number to which they stated that it is legitimate and if replied YES to, I will receive a phone call to organise re-ordering or the console. Unsure how legitimate this is though.

Had a missed call from a debt collector number didn t answer as I don t answer any unknown number I get the same king of calls continuously from other so called companies like EE and bright house !!

Female caller asks whether I ve been in an accident (FYI - this is not a real person, just a very cleverly recorded message that is only triggered by the words Hello and Yes ) put through to a bloke asking whether I d been in an car accident...pretended to not hear him very well and wound him up a bit before he put the phone down on me!

Muffled + distorted male asking for my wife by name. Kept talking too fast despite several requests then demands to slow down. Told him to go away. Said he d call back.

Tried to upgrade my phone, but took my account details and card number, address etc. I am quite worried now that they have too many details and will use them. No sign of upgrade through my usual EE account!

Very persistent, insistent that I had bank accounts which I had paid monthly fees on. Turned mildly aggressive when I refused to budge. They still call on a daily basis.
