It s just a data gathering call where the data is then sold on to other companies who call you to try to sell you products that you don t want. Call is dropped as soon as you start playing with them. Worth a laugh to play with the

Has phoned my several times in past week. Always a recorded "goodbye" after a few seconds.

Said that according to their records I had done "industrial work", I said that I had not and that they said that in order to be taken off their records I had to tell them what work I had done. I declined and they hung up without a word. Got the impression they wanted to cook up a compensation claim or suchlike.

Rang for 2 seconds then hung up. Likely trying to get people to call back or trying to determine which phone numbers are active for more spamming.
