These are frausters claiming to be from vodafone but they are not! pls be aware !

Sales call / this is a call from SD of Verkada Limited - a tech company selling security cameras etc. It will likely be related to an email whereby it is suggested he will be "in your area" next week. Of course he doesn't know where you are and in the absence of matter-transportation will not be there. It's an unsolicited sales call and not very clever. Best avoid firms like this where they start with a lie.

I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.

SCAM suspected. Was asking about my internet and wanted me to go to my pc and follow instructions.

Informed by the cold caller on answering his questions that I was lying and why didn’t I just “F*** Off”. Charming!!!

Apparently I am being prosecuted for tax evasion and as I did not press option 1, I will be going to jail. Recorded message.

Clearly a scam. Caller had very poor English and claimed to be calling from O2. I don't have abs account with O2 so I hung up.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. There try and get you to give them your bank details, once you do there will steal money from your account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION!

Claimed to be from my bank and asked for clearance for a payment I had supposedly made for nearly £1000.

Pretending to be my heating insurance provider offering a lower rate. When I pushed for a company name it was similar but not quite the same as it should have been. They had my details!! Possible scam.

Fraud Man rang from this number pretending to be from my locality not Manchester, checking to see if I was at home. Suspect part of a burglary gang.

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".

Confident English-sounding voice rang, recorded message, saying two amounts of money were to leave my account, expressing concern that they were fraudulent. Told me to dial 1 to find out more. I did not. Sure it is a scam.

Phone marked it as potential scam/spam, then no voicemail was left. Wouldn't trust it.

Said it was 02 but was an Indian guy from a call center and I had already spoke to 02 a week before

SCAM Think it’s a scam, as person got annoyed when I asked him to repeat the company name, because I didn’t hear him properly. Spoke very quickly, as if to stop me interrupting. I asked him the company name again. It was something electric and he then asked if I had double glazing, when I said it was none of his business he ended the call.
