Then if you are daft enough they get you to open a command prompt window and log onto their website - result yhey have your computer and bye bye to lots of money

We do not answer unknown numbers and ring them back if they leave a message on answering machine. No message left.

In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.

She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address. Said nothing was being sold but if it was just a survey the attitude was terrible!
