Pre-recorded PPI claim message. I get these daily from 0843 numbers but they ve now started phoning me on local area code numbers as well! I can t ignore the calls as they come through to my work phone. I ve registered with TPS and it s made no difference! Ignore and don t call back.

AMAZON ‘Julie’ rang my landline and said she was from Amazon Security. An attempt had been made to purchase an iphone using my account at nearly £700. Said it was an emergency that I check my emails while she waited. Said I would phone Amazon Security once I had checked. Caller became more insistent and said we have to block them as an emergency to stop the purchase. Said I would phone my bank to prevent payment. She said bank wouldn’t be able to put a ‘stop’ only Amazon security. Caller hung up.

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Asking for company information. Had old company details and didn't know who to ask for. Assuming these are a scam.
Received call from 01915277766. Number told to phone 0013476699085 by automated message to receive £500000 lottery win. Advised me that I had been contacted by phone and letter that I had not replied to. Given 18 days to respond before prise withdrawn. I have not entered any lottery and received no previous communication. Obvious scam so did not respond.

Calls every day around 8am - luckily I have my phone on mute at this time. Message left says they?re calling from Lloyds Banking Group (Lloyds/Halifax/BoS/MBNA/Sainsbury?s Bank etc.). I?ve never banked with any of these outfits so best guess is scam.
