Insurance/Spam suspected. UK Caller dialled my Swiss mobile and purported to be working on a survey for Swiss government that would take about 1 minute. I was then asked about car and life insurance, so left the call after about 2 minutes and before the 'survey' was completed.
answered it to see what they have to say. they were just talking amongst themselves. so i put the phone down on them and blocked them

TPS is useless. calls coming from everywhere and yet the authorities do nothing, perhaps they are in it as well, so they can line there own pockets.
020 3476 0721 I have answered this call multiple times. When I answer, the caller drops the call. No speech or anything. They just immediately hang up. I found that the calls from this number very distressing.

SCAM Claims to be Metro Bank Fraud Alert, will call you to pry for details thereafter using the Metrobank contact number as their caller ID. Do not give them any information, just tell them you're going to confirm you're speaking with Metrobank by hanging up and calling the number yourself - they won't put up a fight apart from asking you to google the number they're using as caller ID to confirm it's the same (it's not the actual number they're calling from).

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19167122xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with FIRST ASSIST - car accident claims, insurance marketing, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
I had similar call saying - entered my details in holiday trip competition , then they asked me my email then got suspicious told them to call later, 2nd the called me but I did not answer and they did not leave any message. I have blocked this number.
