Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. On pressing them, they do not divulge their name or location. Again they ask you to tell them your name and address or be arrested. I admit I lost my temper and a few expletives fle

If you dial 02396, you get unobtainable after the first five figures. I suspect a foreign concealed number that you can't ring back to investigate.
Scam Recorded message saying that a £600 transaction from a foreign country had been blocked by "your bank" the message did not name a specific bank. It was also a requirement for me to press 1 to discuss, which I didn't. The call dropped after 20 seconds. I have checked my banking and no such transaction appears to have taken place. At that point I just hung up so don’t know what else was said but I’m sure if I was involved in tax fraud the last thing I would get is an automated message. Please be careful and just hang up and report it on here or anywhere so others can know about it. This is a dangerous call.

Had a missed call, asked for my name and to press 1, when i gavew a fake name and pressed one, went through to a man who did not know i was calling, when i explained i had a missed call he asked for my full names and when i refused he did not want to take my call.
