Junk calls started again on 2Jan18, this being one of them - had again today, the 3rd and didn t answer again; tried calling it from my work phone and get a recorded "The number have dialled has not been recognised."
This a HOAX, they say they are the Government and that your NI NUMBER or similar has been used fraudulently and that you should dial 1 - DO NOT DIAL 1

usual pakistani,muslim sounding scammer claiming to be from solicitors. for some reason he didnt take too kindly to the barrage of verbal abuse from me and eventually took the hint after calling back 5 times in rapid succession for more of the same treatment. sometimes its just nice to be able to unload your abuse at someone who cant complain about you. :)
Has called a couple of times. No idea who or why and don't leave messages. I don't answer unrecognized numbers.

Young sounding lady called me to say I have overpaid on my direct debit and asked for my bank details. Like above, quite concerning. Knew my name etc.
Recorded message stating it was from Amazon telling me my iPhone 7 (yes 7) was being shipped and to press 1 for further information. Got an Asian woman thanking me for calling Amazon with my query, I strung her along for a while before disconnecting, Dangerous.

Deceptive site ahead Attackers on icheck-request.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers or credit cards).
Didn't answer them, they left no voicemail. I've been applying for loads of jobs recently so I assume it's either a call centre regarding that, or my numbers been sold on. I see it's calling all over the UK so I'm assuming it's a telemarketer. I'm located near Edinburgh. Number doesn't match a company or business on Google or facebook ????
