Received a call from a member of 'Talktalk' who 'tried' to scam me yet again! As soon as I mentioned the word 'scam' he hung up.

This is a loan scam, they say your accepted for a loan and then ask for an advance fee payment. You never see the loan and they deny they ever spoke to you, let alone give you the money back. Based in Mumbai India.

this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. The following day i received a text asking if i am busy and if i could do them a favour and get them ?20 O2 top up by texting them the code. He opened the call...dont worry I am not selling Gas or electric. He then went on to ask if I wanted to sell my business. I said, if you had done your research properly you would see that I am not the owner, only a director. Head office overseas own it. He still argued with me, anyway on closing teh call I told him to wake up. he was the most NON dynaic person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Sounded like he was being forced to make these calls straight from school

be careful not to give your numbers when buying tyres, or they will call you for car insurance etc. I said I want interested, but they still tried to push insurance

FRAUD SCAM Recorded message claiming that my internet service would be disconnected due to my (unnamed) ISP detecting 'illegal' activity from my connection and inviting me to press 1 to connect to an 'executive'.

Pension review scam call who, when you ask them to remove you from your phone list, think it's funny to call you back often. Don't answer and block the number.

I am in Liverpool and this seems to be a Liverpool number but nobody speaks and its as if the call is being diverted. Anybody else getting this ?

Called my business number. No message left on machine. 1471 revealed the phone number. Tried calling several times but got number unobtainable tone.

Noone has my mobile number, and it nevers rings but today it did after i did apply for a new PAYG Sim Card for free from what i thought was genuine o2 web page advertising. If they are genuine and it s a courtesy call then fine, otherwise these could be scamartists trying to confirm your details by tricking you into surrending them online thinking its for a free sim card and cloning o2 s advertising website style. Be careful!
