Answered call from 01302 630497 fairly aggressively in anticipation of dealing with cold call spam/scammer but the number just cut out.
I ignored the call as my phone said "potential fraud" i have blocked the number.
100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

I assume this was a phishing attempt as the automatic message claimed to be from "my bank" (no specific bank mentioned) warning me of an Amazon debit and a large international transfer. Press 1 to speak to an "advisor".
Received an automated call reporting to be from amazon regarding a suspicious purchase on my account. Amazon do not have my landline number, which is how I received the call.
Nobody outside of my contacts calls me on a weekend. Most likely suspicious caller. Blocked.
Telemarketing. My mobile flagged the number as spam so I answered with my usual 'can i help you' and a woman asked for me, i replied again 'can i help you' and she started talking so fast about some sort of market research. TBH i didnt hear what she was saying cus she talked so fast! When i tried to interrupt her she said something like 'im going to call you everyday' then hung up. Ive blocked the number now.

Missed call I suspect attempted scam. I’m getting a rush of varied timeshare scam call from varied mobile numbers, this looks like the latest attempt. I usually just clear and block when sure it’s not a genuine call but recently I spoke to one and was terse so might have got myself flagged for more aggressive attention, or maybe I’m just paranoid. the person claims to be from British Gas or another energy provider saying his name is either Peter or Jay he is pushy and aggressice keeps calling demanding to speak to a manager when you refuse he keeps calling and is rude and wont take no for answer especially when you state you dont wnat his business now blocked numbers from his mobile and this number, avoid at all costs as he will keep calling i had 25 calls in less than 4 minutes, after telling him i am going with another energy provider!

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
