Didn't hang around on the phone but it was a bad connection and they said they were offering services

This number has a pop-up (which is difficult to get rid of unless you know anything more than the average about IT) whilst doing an everyday search on Google. I called the number more for a bit of fun and also to put these scammers to shame by telling them

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Simply call back and ask them to prove who they are. Unsurprisingly, the line will go dead. Dangerous scammers trying to get your info.

These charged me £80 through vodafone called me asking me for additional information so they can refund me but i was reluctant to do that

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1916719xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, car accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Have had 8 calls from this number today I answered it as had entered a Glastonbury competition but turns out I had an accident, when I asked for details was told they needed to verify it was me by me telling them! I told them I had fallen down the stairs three months ago which I think was why they called me! They said they didn't cover that! Being quite cross for answering and it not being free tickets to Glastonbury I told why not as it had resulted in them calling me which caused me the same pain in the *

Phone rang for 2 rings then rang off. Recalled number - Is a marketing company posing as a market research company. They rang earlier in the day from another number in Ashford, Kent which I blocked on my mobile - then they rang a few hours later from this number, which is now also blocked.

First time I received a call from this number today... No one spoke, you could just hear men talking in the background. Did not sound like they were speaking English. Just annoying really.
