He said our are had had a lot of nuisance calls and said as above for ?84.99 he could stop all these calls and after 3 years it would be free. Gave me a number to ring the same as above complainants. Update for my entry 19/04/17. Call from this number received after placing ad on Gumtree to sell a car. Caller spoke with South Asian accent, claiming to represent, MTA Solicitors regarding a Road Traffic Collision. I contacted MTA Solicitors directly. They do not make or condone cold calls whatsoever. Any cold call received where the caller purports to be from or acting on behalf of MTA Solicitors, should be treated as fraudulent.

Wouldn t give me details on how they got my number, wouldn t even remove my number unless I provided my name which I refused to do and I was bluntly told that it was my own fault if I got more calls. TV insurance scam. Seems to be cold calling everyone. We have no TV insurance, but started by saying "It shows you are paying £7 for TV insurance", when I replied "What a load of rubbish" they hung up. Reading the other comments it looks like everyone should do the same.
