Somebody called me and told me is from Lloyds Bank and has an offert for a credit card. I think is scam because bank not call from ordinary mobile number.

Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

01189077601 called today totally silent before hanging up. Being a local call i dialed 1471 to see who called me. The number was in fact a mobile number being 074267249 in which case is has to be someone who is a scam merchant jumping on another phone line.

Received scam email allegedly from Santander claiming a scheduled transfer has been set up and to call this number if I didn't scedule this transfer (I don't have a Santander account).
Text from this number claims to be from Barclays saying a payment was set up to someone. It included a link, which I didn't use, as I don't bank with Barclays. Obviously a scam.

Called on my mobile, automated voice saying they are from my bank but didn't mention Which one saying they'd noticed large amounts coming out of my visa account. As I don't have a visa card I knew It was a scam. It was quite believable though. I might have pressed 1 as instructed

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Bank scam again - Amazon account blocked and money transfer abroad - I just put phone down. I get these calls sometimes 3 or 4 times a week WHY can't something be done to stop them!!!!!

SCAM Fraud : Indian lady called "Eliza" claiming to be from Virgin Media, asked how I was then hung up.
Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.
