They've called 3 times today. Picked up the last time because it was familiar area code. Friendly enough chap, northern accent, trying to sell me an ISA.
Called and left a silent voicemail, now blocked.

SCAM Did a return call using 141. Automated voice mail saying thankyou for calling back and using a compare website with options to press a number to be taken off the caller list. Very dangerous.
Had a Messenger response from someone who called himself Gary then Gaz in response to Facebook Market Place advert. Further message asked me to message him on 07984645686 as his iPad was playing up. I replied that I did not have my phone and could only use Messenger. He sent 3 further messages without any problem finally saying that he would call and collect the item next Tuesday and pay cash, and what is my address. I ended the conversation there.
Information this is a number from O2 regarding upgrades and cheaper bills ????

Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. I then rang back the number (03300270201) and got the following recorded message (female voice, American accent): "The number you have dialled is no longer in service. This number called me 9.12.2022 told me it was BT and advised other people were using my internet connection and were doing so for bad purposes. Wanted me to turn on my computer so they could sort it out and stop the problem.
Asking for bank details and for you to contact fraud department as someone trying to get money from your account….not possible to ring them back…scam.

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. SCAM This number is a shopping1909.com SCAM . They say they are a home working company part of Selfridges asking people to do some tasks for people to get commissions. DO NOT TRUST as they will ask you to put some money in to get commissions.

Next time the same person called from this number 03302200441, was continusly rude and shouting down the phone, has called us to the count of 37 times from 03/02/2023 to present date 04/05/2023 - the 07951999600 number is listed in the Lady magazine issue 10/2021 under as wanting to buy scarfs.

01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.
