Just received a call about my cavity wall insulation. Asked them to remove my number and they refused. Asked to be put through to a manager and refused again. The caller informed me he called the shots so to prove he didn't, I hung up on him. Extremely rude and obviously in the wrong job with a telephone manner like that.
Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.

Hi I have had 9 calls in two days from this number..I haven t answered any of them when home..they don t give up (and yes they go onto the answer machine but don t leave a message)..think they are calling because I too got unrequested mobile sim cards sent to me and.. they set up a additional DD at my bank! which I have instructed my bank to cancel - I suspect that s why they are calling me. I have sent everything they sent me back to them at my expense may I add. Have they nothing better to do on a friday
