Asian man claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft....usual "your computer security has been compromised". Knew my name and address. Let him go on for a while and then I got fed up/annoyed and just told him he was lying and stopped the call.
Calls from this and associated numbers 02081443801 and 3803 have been persistent on my mobile since October 2022. They have recently become daily. They have of course long since been blocked. They are now a nuisance on my landline, blocked again. They need to be shut down.

Beware, possibly a banking fraud call. I just hungup.
Gets the usual response to unknown numbers, let it ring and go to the answer-phone. The caller hears the start of the answer-phone message and hangs up. Clearly has no message to leave or any contact details. Pretty good indication of a scammer or cold caller.

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. The second one today from the same stable - only the 2 digits at the end are different. Both calls from Manchester. There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! Well, we are on to them and so are the Police! We must get them stopped and prosecuted. REPORT, REPORT, REPORT!
