Keep ringing and saying hello. But when I reply it s like they don t hear me and hang up!! 5 times they called today and did the same thing.

Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! I dialled 1471, and the above number appeared. When I tried several times to ring them back, I ve got a computerised message

Phoned them back and they said it was Blackpearl Claims, so I hung up. I've heard its a PPI claims company.

Asian accent,called and said you have a nationwide building society account and that I m between 40 and 80. No account details give to him !

Had 4 missed calls from this number today so rang it back. It s a recorded message for yay.com asking you to protect your phone etc using their cloud. Don t know where they got my number from. But the message does end asking you to ring a 0330 number!!

Was the usual boilers on benefits call. I engaged for a short time, he asked about anyone being on benefits/pension credits etc. and what type of heating I have. I said wife is on benefits and on gas. Getting excited now he "helped" me put that into, wife is on ESA and the house runs on LPG gas and is 20 years old. I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.
